LeT chief Jammu-Kashmir, Mehmood Shah, in response to the aggressive statement of Dinesh Sharma said, “Freedom is our right and the future of Jammu-Kashmir is linked with exit of Indian troops.” “Dinesh Sharma talking to a news agency in New Delhi said that the youth of Jammu-Kashmir must stop extremism and talking about freedom, or Jammu-Kashmir will become Yemen, Libya, Syria. Mehmood Shah responded, saying, “If Kashmir becomes Syria, Yemen, Libya, then India will face worse situation than Afghanistan. Indian forces are extremists and we are peaceful”, he said. In an emailed statement to KNS, LeT Spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Ghazanwi Qhile quoting the out its chief as saying “Dinesh Sharma should take notice of the internal situation of his own country first. More than 30 separation movements are active in India. Asam, Nagaland, Manipur, West Bengal, Chattees Garh, Punjab, just to mention a few. Hindu-Muslim riots, Dallit-Barahman clash, Marathi-nonMaraathi hate, murder of Muslims on the name of Gao Rakshak, economic instability due to non-availability of currency notes, graph of India is going down and down every passing day. He should focus on his own country.” “Kashmiris don’t need his suggestions. Our movement is completely justified and it is against the illegal occupation on India. India, against the partition plan, illegally occupied Kashmir, Hyderabad Deccan, Junagarh, Munawadar, Jeselmir and Baarmail. Kashmiris are not going to accept anything other than freedom. Before coming to Kashmir for dialogue, it must be kept in mind that India has to quit, and this is the only solution.”
